I was taught to choose my finished art materials for the long-haul - lightfast pencils and a surface that will last decades, if not longer. Finding acid-free, lightfast, durable paper & board is getting easier.  I use Crescent or Strathmore Illustration Boards and Strathmore or Mi-Teints Paper (though lightfastness is an issue with certain dark Mi-Teints colours). The pencil brands I choose are various, and all dependent upon lightfastness.  I have Prismacolor, Derwent regular and Colorsoft, Lyra, Faber-Castell, and Caran d'Ache.  I have some Rembrandt as a gift from a friend, which I use sparingly. Stock Use

All stock resources have a list of rules up front, so here's mine: Only the "Stock" folder has stock. Stocks that I pre-cut can't be used for commercial purposes.  Use on DA is fine. I don't require credit on the pre-cut stock.  I personally find it helpful, though, when the origin of stock resources is shown - it helps to find nifty things and new ways to use nifty things. These rules/guides will change as I begin uploading personal reference photos for stock use. Hopefully, I add something of use to the DA community!
